These days, people hardly believe in one another. My own mother hardly gives me any compliments, and I notice other families are about as tighit-knit as a shitty crotche blanket. There are holes everywhere, and that's not just with the parents. My brother, for example, disowned my mother and grandmother for not paying one thousand dollars to bail him out of jail. Again. He got busted a week into probation with a bowl, and was bitching about needing the money. I grew so tired of these things when he was still young, but my mother was crushed when he said he hated her. He's so selfish. But we aren't the only dysfunctional family. These things happen everywhere, and I'm beginning to lose my hope in happy families.

I've also noticed how people have become terrible. More disgusting. Men expect females to accept unfaithfulness, and women sometimes expect that of men, as well. Is there no such thing as truly being faithful?

I know that chivalry is dead, but that doesn't make it any less romantic. I absolutely adore those who are chivalrous. Nothing is more adorable than a man who arrives on a horse, dressed like a real gentleman.

That's another thing I'd like to see. I'd like to see people with values. Women, giving up their virginity like candy, as if it's something you can just get back with a few sweet, empty promises. I did give away my virginity at a young age, and I assure you, I regret it. I wish I had kept it for the special person I hope to meet one day. But I didn't, and I'm moving on.

I wish people would realize how fantastic the simple things are, like how amazing a MP3 player is simply because it carries music without needing a CD. Or how a cell phone sends a message without needing a pen. The simple things in life are the most fasinating.

I don't mean to be too old-timey, and I apologize to anyone who might actually read this, but these are just things that bother me.
